Beam me up, Scottie

I did it... I broke down and did what I swore I would never do! I saw Star Trek... And I maybe sort of LOVED it!

I never expected to love it, but the previews were all making it look so good, I was embarrassed to admit I wanted to see it. So I told my friend (the only friend I had that I knew would see it and would love it) that I wanted to see it and I'm so glad I did! When he was going to see it, he asked if I wanted to go! Thanks Ryan!

I won't lie, but this is about 30% of the reason I wanted to see it...

And this turned out to be about 40% of the reason I loved it!

And not because he is hot... I LOVED his character and the way be played it. He was just so good at it! However... until I started looking at pictures to put up here I hadn't realized just how good looking he really is... Wow...

I was afraid I would get lost during the movie because I had no previous Star Trek knowledge, but it wasn't like that. There was only one part that I got lost in, but Ryan so graciously explained to me that it was their way of saying this isn't the same Star Trek, but we aren't saying that never happened!

I still didn't exactly understand what they were talking about relating to the movie, but I understand the concept of what they were trying to get across... after it was explained!

Now that I have talked more about Star Trek in a matter of minutes than I ever thought I'd talk in a lifetime... I will leave you with this:
